Gurugram / New Delhi, April 19, 2026: In a significant step towards promoting harmony and global brotherhood, the “We Support Peace” campaign was officially launched on the auspicious occasion of the 66th birthday of Acharya Lokeshji by the Hon’ble Governor of Uttarakhand, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh, and the Hon’ble Governor of Punjab, Shri Gulab Singh Kataria.
The ‘World Peace and Harmony Conference’ organized by Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti was addressed by the Honorable Governor Acharya Lokeshji, Chairperson of Senior Citizen Kesari Club, Dr. Kiran Chopra, Acharya Pundarik Goswamiji. The event began with National Anthem, eminent social leaders Shri Vineet Lohia & Shri Vijay Kapoor welcomed the guests, welcome address by Wing Commander Kuldeep Jain.
The “We Support Peace” campaign is envisioned as a global movement, encouraging people to take a simple yet powerful pledge—to stand for peace in thought, word, and action.
Punjab Governor Shri Gulab Singh Kataria said that Acharya Lokesh Ji has been continuously working for the establishment of peace, harmony, and social welfare by promoting the teachings of Lord Mahavir and ancient Indian philosophy both in India and abroad. With the establishment of a world-class Peace Center, Acharya Ji’s vision of global peace and harmony has enhanced.
Uttarakhand Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh said that in present times, when the world is grappling with unrest and violence, the work of Acharya Lokeshji provides a new direction. He inspires people to rise above greed, hatred, and ego to build a society that is just, compassionate, and harmonious. Under his guidance, the Ahimsa Vishwa Bharati organization has become a model in the field of social service.
Jain Acharya Lokeshji addressing the gathering emphasized that peace is not merely the absence of conflict, but a conscious practice of understanding, tolerance, and mutual respect. He urged people across religions, cultures, and nations to become ambassadors of peace in their daily lives. said that he is committed to spreading the philosophy of non-violence, peace, and harmony rooted in Indian Sanatan culture and the teachings of Lord Mahavir across the world.
Dr. Kiran Chopra, Chairperson of Senior Citizen Kesari Club, said that many Indian religious leaders are doing remarkable work by linking religion with social service, and Acharya Lokesh Ji stands at the forefront.
Acharya Pundarik Ji said that practicing religion is a way of life that leads not only to personal peace but also to global harmony and humanity. Revered Acharya Lokesh Ji is dedicated to this cause.

The launch witnessed participation from spiritual leaders, interfaith representatives, social influencers, and members of civil society, reflecting a shared commitment towards fostering unity in diversity.
Shri Dheeraj Jain was honoured with the Human Service Award. The program was conducted by Squadron Leader Nupur Jain, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Shri Dheeraj Jain. Certificates were distributed to students who completed yoga training at WPC on this occasion. The volunteers of the World Peace Center and Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti extended full support in making the program successful.
