Chicago/ Delhi, June 25, 2024: Founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and World Peace Centre Acharya. Lokesh delivered the inaugural addressed at the JAINA Convention Planning Summit held at Chicago, USA.  Acharya Lokesh addressing the large gathering said that Jain philosophy is always moving forward to establish peace, harmony and non-violence in the world. Jain lifestyle is being adopted in every corner of the world, especially after the Covid pandemic, it is possible to create a healthy society through Jain lifestyle. World renowned Jain Acharya Lokesh said that it becomes the duty of Jain community to spread the Jain principles and dimensions to the world population and contribute towards world welfare. He said that in the present world scenario when violence, inequalities and environmental degradation are on the rise, the Jain community across the world needs to work together with other communities for peace, harmony, stability and equality. Praising the contemporary relevance of organizing the JAINA Convention, Acharyashree said that the Jain community, united from every corner of the world, is doing social service at the global level.

Mr. Atul Shah, Vice President of JAINA and coordinator on the occasion said that soon the Kumbh Mela of the World Jain Society ‘Jaina Convention’ is going to be organized in Chicago city of America. The Convention will be organized to discuss various dimensions of unity for peace within the global Jain community and promotion of harmony, stability and social justice beyond it.

Mr. Vipul Shah and Mr. Jignesh Jain, Co-conveners of the conference said that 7000 delegates from various parts of the world like from America, Canada, United Kingdom, India, Australia, and New Zealand etc. will participate in the JAINA Convention. Preparations for organizing the convention are going on in full swing.

The conference began with the lighting of the lamp by Maha Sanghapati and Sanghapati and the auspicious discourse of His Holiness Dr. Acharya Lokeshji, which set a spiritually uplifting tone. JSMC President Mr. Pragnesh Shah and Jaina President Mr. Bindesh Shah welcomed the attendees. Many former presidents and dignitaries including Jaina’s former president Mr. Prem Jain, Dr. Sushil Jain were present at the event. The huge crowd present in the auditorium was extremely enthusiastic about organizing the JAINA Summit.
