New Delhi, April 23, 2019: Zee Network Chairman Shri Subhash Chandra and Founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti Jain Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni in a meeting discussed issues of national importance. Shri Subhash Chandra said that religious leaders and social organisations should come forward to solve the burning issues like environment protection and conservation.

Ambassador of Peace Acharya Lokesh talking about grand event ‘Environment Protection for World Peace’ to celebrate World Environment Day organised byAhimsa Vishwa Bharti in Mumbai said that World Renowned Spiritual Leaders Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev, Yogrishi Baba Ramdev, Jain Acharya Lokesh Muni, Dr. BK Shivani will address the environmentalists, social workers, industrialists, politicians, thinkers from India and abroad present on the occasion.  He said that World is faced with the problem of climate change. Ecological imbalance which is the  most crucial problem of our age is a threat for coming generation it is directly related to the very survival of human race. It is concerned not only with human beings and their environment, but with animal life and plant-life as well. Jain philosophy based on Principles of Bhagwan Mahavir says that not only human and animal beings, but earth, water, air, fire and vegetation are also living beings. The ‘Shatjeevnikay’ principle says that the nature should not be unnecessarily be disturbed.  Acharya Lokesh congratulating Subhash Chandra for TV show organised on the Youth said that many social welfare activities are being run in the leadership of Subhash Chandra.

Shri Subhash Chandra said that Jain Philosophy teach us a lifestyle which creates balanced environment, balanced society and balanced personality. He said that presently world is moving fast towards economic, industrial, scientific and materialistic development. People subjugated by selfish desires and greed are destroying environment, this is a matter of great concern. He appreciated that in the leadership of Acharya Lokesh Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti organisation is constantly making efforts of social welfare by associating religion with social work. He said when on World Environment Day renowned leaders of different religions will give message of environment protection from one platform it will definitely create an awareness among people.

On the occasion Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti book ‘Aahwaan’ was presented to Shri Subhash Chandra. Founder of Religion World Shri Bhavya Shrivastava and Vinit Kumar were present in the meeting.
