Lord Mahavira’s philosophy has solutions to many global problems – Acharya Lokeshji

Chicago, July 05, 2025: Jaina Convention 2025 based on the theme ‘Unity in Diversity – Path to Peace’ was organized in Chicago, USA in the holy presence of Jain Acharya Lokeshji, Dr. Gyanvatsal Swamiji from Swami Narayan tradition, Sadhvi Shilapiji, Saman Shrutpragyaji, Dr. Devendrakirti Bhattaraka Mahaswamiji, Dr. Samani Pratibha Pragyaji. The 4-day Jaina Convention which started on July 3 is the Maha Kumbh of Jains organized in America which is organized by Jain Federation of North America once every two years. In this Maha Kumbh, apart from 72 Jain centers of America, 5000 representatives from various countries including Canada, Britain, India are participating.

Jain Acharya Lokeshji, founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and World Peace Centre, while addressing the inaugural session of Jaina Convention held in Chicago, said that at present, there is an atmosphere of war and violence in many parts of the world, the world is standing on the brink of the third world war, in such a time, the non-violence and Anekant philosophy of Lord Mahavir can show the world a new path. He said that ideological pollution is more dangerous than environmental pollution, due to the same ideological pollution, a situation of tension and conflict has arisen in many parts of the world, an atmosphere of communal fanaticism and religious intolerance prevails, in such a time, only the message of peace of Bhagwa Mahavir, which shows the path of unity in diversity, can save the world from the third world war.
Acharya Lokeshji said that Jainism, based on the principle of non-violence and Anekant of Lord Mahavir, is a scientific religion. It is more relevant in the present time, solutions to many global problems like war, violence and climate change are found in Jain philosophy. He said that after the Covid pandemic, there has been an attraction towards the Jain way of life all over the world. He appealed to the 5000 delegates participating in the Jaina Convention on the theme ‘Unity in Diversity – Path to Peace’ to go to their respective areas and spread the message of Lord Mahavira’s non-violence and Anekant philosophy to the people for the benefit and welfare of the entire human race.

The Jaina Convention is being organized from 3rd to 6th July at the Convention Center in Chicago. Programs related to people of all classes and age groups were organized in the convention in which more than 5000 people are participating. The Jaina Convention focused on the theme ‘Unity in Diversity – Path to Peace’. On this occasion, Dr. Gyanvatsal Swami Ji, eminent motivational speakers of Swami Narayan tradition; Sadhvi Shilapi Ji, Saman Shrutpragya Ji, Dr. Devendrakirti Bhattaraka Mahaswami Ji, Dr. Samni Pratibha Pragya Ji, renowned Ayurveda Acharya Manish from India, along with Mr. Ajay Sheth, Dr. Bipin Doshi, Mr. Hitesh Doshi, Mr. Manu Shah, Mr. Vimal Shah, Miss Jessica Cox, Mr. Sparsh Shah, Mr. Bhavin Shah, Mr. Sagar Sheth, Mr. Deepak Bhai Bardoli, Shastri Bipin Shah, Mr. Paritosh Bhai Shah, Shastri Swanubhuti Jain, Dr. Tej Saheb, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Jain, Mr. Rikin Shah, Mr. Jiney Shah etc. expressed their views on this subject and highlighted the principles, values and tradition of Jainism and presented their scientific truth.

शिकागो 05, जुलाई, 2025 : अमेरिका के शिकागो में ‘अनेकता में एकता – शांति का मार्ग थीम’ पर आधारित “जैना कॉन्वेंशन 2025” का आयोजन जैन आचार्य लोकेशजी, स्वामी नारायण परंपरा से डॉ. ज्ञानवत्सल स्वामी जी, साध्वी शिलापीजी, समण श्रुतप्रज्ञ जी, डॉ. देवेन्द्रकीर्ति भट्टारक महास्वामीजी, डॉ. समणी प्रतिभा प्रज्ञा जी की पावन सन्निधि में प्रारम्भ हुआ । 3 जुलाई से शुरू हुए 4 दिवसीय जैना कन्वेंशन अमेरिका में आयोजित जैनों का महाकुंभ है जिसका आयोजन जैन फेडरेशन ऑफ़ नार्थ अमेरिका हर दो वर्ष में एक बार करता है | इस महाकुंभ में, अमेरिका के 72 जैन सेंटर के अतिरिक्त कनाडा, ब्रिटेन, भारत सहित विभिन्न देशों से 5000 प्रतिनिधि भाग ले रहे हैं।

अहिंसा विश्व भारती एवं विश्व शांति केंद्र के संस्थापक जैन आचार्य लोकेशजी ने शिकागो में आयोजित जैना कन्वेन्शन के उदघाटन सत्र को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि मौजूदा समय में विश्व के अनेक हिस्सों में युद्ध एवं हिंसा का वातावरण बना हुआ है, दुनिया तीसरे विश्व युद्ध के मुहाने पर खड़ी है, ऐसे समय में भगवान महावीर का अहिंसा एवं अनेकांत दर्शन दुनिया को नई राह दिखा सकता है। उन्होने कहा कि पर्यावरण प्रदूषण से भी वैचारिक प्रदूषण अधिक खतरनाक है, उसी वैचारिक प्रदूषण कि बदौलत विश्व के अनेक हिस्सों में तनाव व संघर्ष की स्थिति उत्पन्न हो गयी है, सांप्रदायिक कट्टरता व धार्मिक असहिष्णुता का माहौल बना हुआ है, ऐसे समय में अनेकता में एकता की राह दिखाने वाला भगवा महावीर का शांति का संदेश ही दुनिया को तीसरे विश्व युद्ध से बचा सकता है।

आचार्य लोकेशजी ने कहा कि भगवान महावीर के अहिंसा एवं अनेकांत सिद्धान्त पर आधारित जैन धर्म एक वैज्ञानिक धर्म है। मौजूदा समय में अधिक प्रासंगिक है, युद्ध, हिंसा एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन जैसे अनेक वैश्विक समस्याओं के समाधान जैन दर्शन में मिलता है। उन्होने कहा कि कोविड महामारी के बाद जैन जीवन शैली के प्रति पूरे विश्व में एक आकर्षण उत्पन्न हुआ है, उन्होने ‘अनेकता में एकता – शांति का मार्ग’ थीम पर जैना कन्वेन्शन में भाग ले रहे 5000 प्रतिनिधियों से आह्वान किया कि वे सभी अपने क्षेत्रों में जाकर समूची मानव जाति के हित और कल्याण के लिए भगवान महावीर के अहिंसा एवं अनेकांत दर्शन को जन-जन तक पहुचाएँ।
