अहिंसा विश्व भारती के 20 वर्षों की  यात्रा को ‘शांति–सद्भावना वर्ष’ के रूप में मनाया जाएगा-आचार्य लोकेशजी

गुरुग्राम/नई दिल्ली, 24 अक्टूबर 2026, विश्व शांति, अहिंसा, धार्मिक सद्भाव, सामाजिक समरसता एवं मानवीय मूल्यों के संरक्षण और संवर्धन के लिए समर्पित संस्था अहिंसा विश्व भारती की गौरवशाली 20 वर्षों की सफल यात्रा के उपलक्ष्य में ‘शांति–सद्भावना वर्ष’ का भव्य शुभारम्भ समारोह विश्व शांति केंद्र, सेक्टर-39, गुरुग्राम में आयोजित हुआ। इस ऐतिहासिक अवसर पर संस्थापक आचार्य लोकेश जी के सन्निधि में उत्तराखंड के पूर्व राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह जी ने ‘शांति–सद्भावना वर्ष’ का विधिवत उद्घाटन किया।

 समारोह में हरियाणा सरकार के माननीय मंत्री श्री राव नरबीर सिंह जी, भारतीय जनता पार्टी के वरिष्ट नेता श्री श्याम जाजू जी, प्रसिद्ध उद्योगपति श्री निर्मल कुमार मिंडा जी, प्रसिद्ध समाजसेवी डॉ. अजित गुप्ता जी  सहित राजनीतिक, धार्मिक, सामाजिक एवं औद्योगिक जगत की अनेक प्रतिष्ठित हस्तियों ने सहभागिता की। समारोह में वक्ताओं ने विश्व शांति, अहिंसा, धार्मिक सहिष्णुता एवं सामाजिक समरसता के अहिंसा विश्व भारती के प्रयासों सराहना की।

अहिंसा विश्व भारती के संस्थापक आचार्य लोकेश जी ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि आज विश्व अनेक प्रकार के संघर्षों, हिंसा, वैचारिक मतभेदों और सामाजिक विभाजनों से गुजर रहा है। ऐसे समय में भगवान महावीर का अहिंसा, अनेकांतवाद, करुणा और विश्व मैत्री का संदेश संपूर्ण मानवता के लिए अत्यंत प्रासंगिक है।

आचार्यश्री ने कहा कि अहिंसा विश्व भारती की दो दशकों की यात्रा समाज में अहिंसा, नैतिकता, धार्मिक सद्भाव और मानवीय एकता को सशक्त बनाने के संकल्प को समर्पित रही है। विश्व शांति केंद्र इसी विचारधारा का साकार स्वरूप है, जहां विभिन्न धर्मों, संस्कृतियों और विचारधाराओं के लोगों को संवाद, सहयोग और शांति के साझा मंच पर जोड़ने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि ‘शांति–सद्भावना वर्ष’ केवल एक समारोह नहीं, बल्कि समाज और राष्ट्र को शांति, सद्भावना, मानव कल्याण के लिए सक्रिय रूप से जोड़ने का अभियान है।

उत्तराखंड के पूर्व राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह जी ने ‘शांति–सद्भावना वर्ष’ के शुभारम्भ पर अहिंसा विश्व भारती को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि शांति, सद्भावना, अनुशासन और मानवीय मूल्यों से ही सशक्त समाज एवं समृद्ध राष्ट्र का निर्माण होता है। उन्होंने कहा कि आज के समय में विकास और प्रगति के साथ-साथ समाज में आपसी विश्वास, संवेदनशीलता, नैतिकता तथा राष्ट्रीय एकता को मजबूत करना भी अत्यंत आवश्यक है।

उन्होंने कहा कि आध्यात्मिक संस्थाएं समाज को सही दिशा देने, लोगों को नैतिक मूल्यों से जोड़ने और विभिन्न समुदायों के बीच सौहार्द बढ़ाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती हैं। पूज्य आचार्य लोकेश जी के नेतृत्व मे अहिंसा विश्व भारती द्वारा पिछले 20 वर्षों से शांति, अहिंसा और सामाजिक सद्भाव के लिए किए जा रहे प्रयास सराहनीय हैं। उन्होंने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि ‘शांति–सद्भावना वर्ष’ के माध्यम से यह अभियान और व्यापक होगा तथा समाज के विभिन्न वर्गों को मानवता और विश्व शांति के साझा उद्देश्य से जोड़ने में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देगा।

इस अवसर पर पूर्व राज्यपाल ने डॉ. अजित गुप्ता को लाइफ टाइम अचीवमेंट अवॉर्ड तथा श्री निर्मल कुमार मिंडा, श्री बिष्णु कुमार सुरेका, श्री गौतम कनोरिया को समाज सेवा पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया।

प्रख्यात  समाज सेवी डॉ. अजित गुप्ता एवं प्रख्यात उद्योगपति श्री निर्मल कुमार मिंडा, भाजपा नेता श्री श्याम जाजू ने कहा कि समाज के समग्र विकास के लिए आर्थिक प्रगति के साथ-साथ नैतिक मूल्यों, सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व एवं मानवीय संवेदनाओं को समान महत्व देना आवश्यक है। उन्होंने अहिंसा विश्व भारती की 20 वर्षों की उपलब्धियों की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि विश्व शांति एवं सामाजिक सौहार्द के लिए सरकार, समाज, आध्यात्मिक संस्थाओं और उद्योग जगत को मिलकर कार्य करना चाहिए।

The 20-Year Journey of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti to Be Celebrated as the ‘Year of Peace and Harmony’ – Acharya Lokesh Ji

Former Governor Lt. General Gurmit Singh Ji and Acharya Lokesh Ji Inaugurate the ‘Year of Peace and Harmony’

Gurugram/New Delhi, October 24, 2026: A grand inaugural ceremony of the ‘Year of Peace and Harmony’ was held at the World Peace Centre, Sector 39, Gurugram, to commemorate the glorious 20-year journey of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti, an organisation dedicated to the preservation and promotion of world peace, non-violence, religious harmony, social cohesion, and human values. On this historic occasion, in the august presence of its Founder, Acharya Lokesh Ji, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh Ji, former Governor of Uttarakhand, formally inaugurated the ‘Year of Peace and Harmony’.

The ceremony was attended by Hon’ble Minister in the Haryana Government, Shri Rao Narbir Singh Ji; senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader, Shri Shyam Jaju Ji; renowned industrialist, Shri Nirmal Kumar Minda Ji; eminent social worker, Dr. Ajit Gupta Ji; and several other distinguished personalities from the political, religious, social, and industrial spheres. The speakers appreciated the efforts of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti in promoting world peace, non-violence, religious tolerance, and social harmony.

Addressing the gathering, Acharya Lokesh Ji, Founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti, said that the world today is passing through numerous conflicts, violence, ideological differences, and social divisions. In such times, the teachings of Lord Mahavira on non-violence, Anekantavada, compassion, and universal friendship are extremely relevant for all of humanity.

Acharya Shri stated that the two-decade journey of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti has been dedicated to the commitment to strengthening non-violence, ethics, religious harmony, and human unity in society. The World Peace Centre is a living embodiment of this philosophy, where efforts are being made to bring people from different religions, cultures, and ideologies together on a common platform for dialogue, cooperation, and peace. He said that the ‘Year of Peace and Harmony’ is not merely a celebration but a campaign to actively engage society and the nation in promoting peace, harmony, and human welfare.

Former Governor of Uttarakhand, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh Ji, congratulated Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti on the inauguration of the ‘Year of Peace and Harmony’ and said that peace, harmony, discipline, and human values are essential for building a strong society and a prosperous nation. He emphasised that, alongside development and progress, it is equally important in today’s times to strengthen mutual trust, sensitivity, ethics, and national unity in society.

He further stated that spiritual organisations play an important role in guiding society, connecting people with ethical values, and promoting goodwill among different communities. He appreciated the efforts undertaken by Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti under the leadership of Revered Acharya Lokesh Ji over the past 20 years to promote peace, non-violence, and social harmony. He expressed confidence that the ‘Year of Peace and Harmony’ would expand this campaign further and make a significant contribution towards bringing diverse sections of society together around the shared objectives of humanity and world peace.

On this occasion, the former Governor presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to Dr. Ajit Gupta and the Social Service Awards to Shri Nirmal Kumar Minda, Shri Bishnu Kumar Sureka, and Shri Gautam Kanoria.

Eminent social worker Dr. Ajit Gupta, renowned industrialist Shri Nirmal Kumar Minda, and BJP leader Shri Shyam Jaju stated that the overall development of society requires economic progress to be given equal importance alongside ethical values, social responsibility, and human sensitivity. Appreciating the achievements of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti over the past 20 years, they said that the government, society, spiritual organisations, and the industrial sector must work together to promote world peace and social harmony.

On this occasion, Delhi Chapter Chairman Shri Sankalp Shukla, Faridabad Chapter Chairman Anju Jain, and America Chapter Chairman Shri Anil Anil Monga shared their views. The welcome address was delivered by Shri Bhavin Kamdar, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Tarkeshwari Mishra. The programme was efficiently conducted by Vir Chakra awardee Colonel T. P. Tyagi.
