Gurugram/ New Delhi, August 31, 2025:  International conference ‘World Peace through Peace Education’ at the World Peace Centre organized by Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti is inaugurated by Peace Ambassador Acharya Lokesh Ji, Delhi Assembly speaker Shri Vijender Gupta, Delhi Government’s Culture Minister Shri Kapil Mishra, America’s Professor of world-renowned Stanford University Dr Anurag Mairal, and renowned industrialist Shri Nirmal Kumar Minda and Dr Alok Drolia by lighting the lamp.

World Peace Ambassador Acharya Shri Lokeshji addressing the international conference said that the world which is struggling with war and violence needs knowledge of peace education. The ‘Peace Education’ curriculum is a combination of ancient yoga and current scientific research which will be implemented in various schools and universities. The subject ‘Peace Education’ works to eliminate animalistic tendencies in humans and awaken human and spiritual values.

Delhi Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Vijendra Gupta said that the history of India is a history of peace and non-violence. Lord Mahavir gave the message of nonviolence and compassion; Lord Buddha dreamed of seeing the whole of Asia as a ‘zone of peace’ by giving the message of compassion and friendship. Mahatma Gandhi used non-violence in politics. Acharya Lokeshji is constantly working towards establishing peace and harmony at the global level.

Stanford University professor Dr Anurag Mairal said that UNESCO also says that “Wars begin in human minds, so peace must also be created in human minds”. Based on this, the World Peace Center and Stanford University will work for peace and harmony among different countries.

Eminent journalist Shri Upendra Rai said that journalism can help in the peace building process. Through peace journalism and responsible reporting, the media can make a positive contribution to the peace process.

Renowned industrialist Shri Nirmal Kumar Minda said that it is a matter of pride for us that India’s first World Peace Centre has been established in Gurugram under the leadership of Acharyashri Lokeshji.

Renowned philanthropist Dr. Alok Drolia giving the welcome address discussed the future endeavors of World Peace Centre. Mr. Hitesh Jain, Mr. Sanjay Jain, Mr. Sumit Aggarwal, Mr. Pankaj Jain, Mr. Manoj Jain, Mr. PK Gupta, Mr. Vijay Kapoor welcomed the guests on behalf of World Peace Centre with shawl.

The conference which began with the lighting of lamp in the auditorium of World Peace Centre and concluded with the national anthem. Dignitaries from India and abroad were present on this occasion.

गुरुग्राम/ नई दिल्ली, 31 अगस्त 2025: विश्व शांति केंद्र में अहिंसा विश्व भारती संस्था द्वारा आयोजित “विश्व शांति सद्भावना और पीस एजुकेशन” विषयक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन का उद्घाटन शांतिदूत आचार्य लोकेश, दिल्ली विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री विजेंद्र गुप्ता, दिल्ली सरकार में संस्कृति मंत्री श्री कपिल मिश्रा, अमेरिका की विश्व विख्यात Stanford University के प्रोफेसर डॉ अनुराग मैराल, व प्रख्यात उद्योगपति श्री निर्मल कुमार मिंडा एवं डॉ आलोक ड्रोलिया ने दीप प्रज्वलित कर किया |

विश्व शांतिदूत आचार्यश्री लोकेशजी ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि युद्ध व हिंसा से जूझ रहे विश्व को शांति शिक्षा की जानकारी आवश्यक है। “शांति शिक्षा’ पाठ्यक्रम प्राचीन योग और वर्तमान वैज्ञानिक अनुसंधान का एक संयोजन है जिसे विभिन्न विद्यालयों और विश्वविद्यालयों में लागू किया जाएगा| शांति शिक्षा का विषय मनुष्यों में पाशविक प्रवृत्ति को समाप्त करने और मानवीय एवं आध्यात्मिक मूल्यों को जागृत करने का कार्य करता है |

दिल्ली विधान सभा अध्यक्ष श्री विजेंद्र गुप्ता जी ने कहा कि भारत का इतिहास शांति और अहिंसा का इतिहास है | आचार्य लोकेश जी विश्व शांति केंद्र के माध्यम से शांति, अहिंसा व सद्भावना का संदेश देश दुनिया मे फैला रहे हैं, यह हर्ष का विषय है | उन्होंने कहा भगवान महावीर की अहिंसा और करुणा ही विश्व शांति का आधार है |

दिल्ली सरकार के सांस्कृतिक मंत्री श्री कपिल मिश्रा ने कहा कि भगवान महावीर ने कहा था ‘अहिंसा परमों धर्म:’ | भगवान महावीर ने अहिंसा और करुणा का संदेश दिया, भगवान बुद्ध करुणा और मैत्री का संदेश देकर पूरे एशिया को ‘शांति क्षेत्र’ के रूप मे देखने का सपना देखा | महात्मा गांधी ने अहिंसा का प्रयोग राजनीति मे किया| आचार्य लोकेशजी वैश्विक स्तर पर शांति सद्भावना की स्थापना के लिए निरंतर प्रयासरत हैं।

Stanford University के प्रोफेसर डॉ अनुराग मैराल ने कहा कि यूनेस्को भी कहता है कि ” युद्ध मनुष्यों के मन में शुरू होते हैं, इसलिए शांति का निर्माण भी मनुष्यों के मन में ही होना चाहिए”। इसी बात को आधार बनाते हुए विश्व शांति केंद्र और Stanford University विभिन्न देशों के बीच शांति व सद्भावना के लिए कार्य करेंगे |

प्रख्यात उद्योगपति श्री निर्मल कुमार मिंडा ने कहा कि भारत के प्रथम विश्व शांति केंद्र की स्थापना आचार्यश्री लोकेशजी के नेतृत्व में गुरुग्राम मे हुई है, यह हमारे लिए गौरव का विषय है |

प्रख्यात समाज सेवी डॉ आलोक ड्रोलिया ने स्वागत भाषण देते हुए विश्व शांति केंद्र की भावी योजनाओं के बारे में चर्चा की | इस अवसर पर विश्व शांति केंद्र की ओर से श्री हितेश जैन, श्री संजय जैन, श्री सुमित अग्रवाल, श्री पंकज जैन, श्री मनोज जैन श्री पी के गुप्ता, श्री विजय कपूर ने अतिथियों का स्वागत शल्यार्पण कर किया | विश्व शांति केंद्र के सभागार में दीप प्रज्ज्वलन से प्रारंभ हुए सम्मेलन का समापन राष्ट्रगान से हुआ | अवसर पर देश विदेश से महानुभाव उपस्थित रहे |
