Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni Ji

Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni Ji was born on 17th April 1961 in Pachpadra Nagar, District Badmer, India. He received his formal education in Pachpadra and Jodhpur in India. At a tender age of 22, he renounces the world and received Diksha from Late Acharya Shri Tulsi on October 8th 1983 in the industrial town of Balotra, in India.
He has studied many Holy Scriptures of Jainism, Buddhism and Vedanta in depth. He is well-versed Jain agamas. He is proficient in several languages such as Prakrit, Sanskrit, Hindi, Gujarati and English.

Due to his immense potential and wisdom for the betterment and well being of the people of the country in particular and the nation as a whole in a very short period of time, he scaled great heights and earned fame and respect from all over.

Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni Ji is master of meditation, Yoga and peace education. He is popularly known and famous for a method called “PEACE EDUCATION” which is a combination of ancient meditation, yoga and new science, which is very helpful to eradicate the bestial tendency of humans.

Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni Ji's mission in life is to spread the message of Lord Mahavira of peace and harmony. This noble soul has dedicated his life towards welfare of mankind, and preaches them the lesson of national integrity and unity. He was introduced as the ambassador of people by the President of India, His Excellency Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam to the President of Pakistan, General Pervez Musharraf and he was no short of praising Munishree Lokesh, saying “His wisdom is equally needed in Pakistan as in India and he should visit Pakistan with his message of peace and harmony”.

Former US President Mr. Bill Clinton was deeply impressed with Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni Ji pious thoughts and talent during his visit to Gujarat.

Munishree Lokesh represented in several international seminars and conferences. A close and intimate relationship with who’s who of the world that include President of the USA, several heads of State, Spiritual leaders, Journalists, Academicians, Social activists etc. He has addressed international conferences, such as UNESCO India International Conference at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi, India where cabinet ministers of 60 countries participated. The participants from all over the world were so deeply impressed with his ideology and knowledge that the entire hall kept reverberating with their applaud for a long time.

Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni Ji has played a key role in removing the deadlock in Lok Sabha (Indian Parliament) in 1994 rolling back of the decision of the Government serving the eggs in midday meal in schools in 1993. Due to his vigorous and sincere efforts, the Government had to take back the Ordinance of mixing animal flesh essence in tea, biscuit and ice cream. In 2000 and 2002 due to sustained efforts of Munishree Lokeshji, the Government has to withhold setting up of 4000 new slaughterhouses throughout India.

Munishree Lokeshji is also a poet besides being an emphatic orator and creative writer. His work has been widely appreciated as it has swayed a revolution of new thinking towards the social issues. In his literature, he not only has raised issues but also has suggested comprehensive solutions to the problems. Individual, social, family matters, national and international issues have found their solutions in his literature. He has written more than twelve books having both poems and essays, depicting his doctrines of peace and harmony and they all have become very popular among masses. His literature has been translated in several languages, such as English, Gujarati, Tamil, Bangla, as well as in German language. In recognition of his dedicated work for welfare of mankind, peace and harmony in the year 2010 Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni Ji was awarded prestigious National Communal Harmony Award by Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and Hon'ble Vice President of India Mohd. Hamid Ansari on behalf of Government of India. Acharya Ji is also honoured with “RASHTRIYA NAITIK SAMMAN” izstituted by Guljari Lal Nanda Foundation and “BHASKAR AWARD” instituted by Bharat Nirman Organization.
